My thoughts and prayers are with everyone in the military right now. I hope that everything just resolves itself before anything happens, but I know what it looks like right now. It's hard to keep singing sometimes. Does it do any good? Are we needed? I think music is a balm, a way of sharing as well as expressing our emotions, theraputic, etc. I don't think we should be going over on our own. I don't think we should just ignore him like people did with Hitler, but if we go over alone, wouldn't that put us on the same level as the terrorists? Why can't the powers that be see that? It's like the death penalty - why should someone be killed to prove that killing is wrong? As Teyve says in "Fiddler on the Roof": "An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth and the whole world will be blind and toothless." A line used for humor, usually, but quite true. I keep singing and praying, but I feel like I'm swimming uphill sometimes. I know God is there, but I want to be active - I know, I know - on your knees praying is the best way for a religious person to be active - its the actor's problem of feeling the need to "do something" on stage. Be still and know that He is God.
